Leadership

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam.

With compassion at the core of humanity’s lived experience, we will be able to approach one another with true respect and dwell in peace.

Boundless Compassion facilitators lead retreats and programs that foster a transforming way of life. Participants in our in-person and online events explore compassion as a tender yet powerful inner capacity that helps encourage well-being and overcome divisions. They develop insights, learn practical skills and grow in trust as they discern unique ways to cultivate compassion in their lives and communities.

Founded by Joyce Rupp, Boundless Compassion is a network of programs, retreats, writings, practices and people that encourage healthy self-compassion, explore compassionate living, and offer creative ways to nurture and sustain compassion.

Beloved Community is a vision to create a compassionate and inclusive society where Love is at the center. Beloved Community has an intentional focus on growing an attitude of  non-judgement, nonviolence, forgiveness, and mindfulness. Beloved Community was first used by Josiah Royce and more recently recognized through the work of Martin Luther King, Jr. As practitioners of Compassion we seek to be agents of transformation in our communities where we are open and loving to one another, recognizing we need each other to be the whole body of Christ.

What People Are Saying

“The outcry for compassion in the workplace has been overwhelming, in fact, it has become a demand from employees. Yet this work, one-person-at-a-time, would not be possible without the dedicated Boundless Compassion staff and facilitators who provide a supportive community, as well as many wonderful resources to assist me with the information needed to have the courage and strength to continue to take the next steps.”

— Annette Jordan, Ph.D.

In the Boundless Compassion program, I found new understanding and insights for bringing a more compassionate presence to all aspects of my life, including the ways I serve and lead activities in all my communities. In the process, I have grown deeper in my capacity for compassion—for myself and others, as well.”

— Ken Larson

“My Boundless Compassion journey has given me a new way of seeing compassion by giving me a program and a process to develop a compassionate consciousness, with the rich resources and belonging to a supportive community that embodies the path of compassionate living. To see compassion in action affected my own way of seeing myself and others.
