Karia Lee Basta’s interests have long focused on spirituality and feeling closer to God. She is retired from state government where she administered affordable housing funding for those with special needs, and for people experiencing homelessness. Her energy is now directed to using her gifts for healing. In addition to her ministries of lecturing and volunteering with St Vincent de Paul at St. Mary’s Basilica, she is a Spiritual Director, a massage therapist, a Reiki practitioner, and a certified Boundless Compassion facilitator.
